Hi John,
Good to hear from you.
Im afraid Im not running an Amiga....but I am using an ATARI ST!
Unfortunately not much help except that it too uses a 68000.....
How long have you had TCP/IP going then?
Ive have various copies for about 18 months but have only recently got it to work...ie find a version that works... and find any other station that I can reach via NETROM.
It certaintly interesting, although it would be good to get some more people using it down here.
G1ZXD (John) who is not far from me now has a copy and is trying to get it running.. I think he will have it cracked now becabecause he how has all the config files necessary, so that will make 3 of us in the POOLE/Bournemouth area.

Yes sorry - I set attend on in the startup, as it's always "sort of" attended.
You have to bear in mind that it's window 13 that NOS is running in, so even
if I'm sitting in front of the screen I'm not very likely to spot that you've
made the link unless you send "Beep!" or something!
I must admit that I prefer to communicate via msg, one can compose one's
thoughts better and get on with otehr things in between.
I got caught by the "space" and "return" syndrome too! I have played with
quite a bit of different s/w though, and I think that helps give a few clues -
there are a limited number of base philosophies after all!
(Or maybe my horizons are limited hi).
Many thanks for the "help" files, I have been through them too, and it's
certainly got a LOT more facilities than I thought.
Just learnt about the "mget" and "mput" from Dave (multiple file requests,
like "mget *.hlp" which saves finger wear a bit!

I saw you connect earlier, but couldn't stop the system sending the unattended
message....when I tried to get back to you. 1st via IMB, 2nd via BSL2 there
was no connect acknowledgement.
Unfortunately, as we have found before, the route between us is easily swamped
by QRM.......
As to the Sunday net.... I forgot about it. Searching for a missing letter I
didn't remember until after 8pm.
The previous net was very bad. So much QRM that I could only hear 2 stations
GP4IPA & GM4MCB and noone else.... seasonal problem with 80m.
Anyway, back to work Tuesday.

As to the status 'PFR' well :-
byte 1 = P(ersonal) e.g. SP G0IWT
byte 2 = F(orwarding) indicator set. You sent the message to me.
